Oxyfiadine
Combination Antibiotic and Antipyretic for effective treatment of Pneumonia
Oxytetracycline inhibits the growth of bacteria via attachment to amino acyl transfer RNA on the surface of the 30s ribosomal subunit. Then this agent is bacteriostatic. Also Oxytetracyclines alter the permeability of the cell wall of the bacteria through the attachment to 50s ribosomal subunit. In this way the antibacterial effect of product is augmented more. On the other hand it reduces transformation of glutamate to cellular proteins resulting in growth inhibition.
Flunixin(as Meglumine), like other NSAIDs inhibits cyclooxygnase enzymes and though prevents prostaglandins and thromboxane synthesis leads to reduction of pain, fever and inflammation
