Injectable solution

Gentamicin sulphate acts by binding irreversibly to the ribosomal 30S subunit Gentamicin acts as a narrow-spectrum bactericidal antibiotic against gram-negative bacteria (e. g., E. coli, Proteus spp., Pseudomonas spp.). Gentamicin is not effective against anaerobic bacteria and mycoplasma. Gentamicin does not penetrate intracellularly or into abscesses. Gentamicin is inactivated in the presence of
inflammatory debris, a low-oxygen environment

Composition:

Each 1 ml contain
Gentamycin sulfate 125 mg
equivalent to 100 mg Gentamycin basse

Target species:

Horse, cattle. Foal and calves
Sheep, goats & pigs
Dogs & cats

Indication:

For treatment of respiratory, gastrointestinal and urogenital infections
(bronchitis, pneumonia, pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis, endometritis,
metritis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, infected wounds, pyodermia sepsis, etc.)
caused by gentamicin-sensitive microorganism

Dose:

Intramuscular or intravenous administration
Horse, cattle, Foal & calves 4 ml per 100 kg body weight
Sheep; goats & pigs 4 ml per 100 kg body weight.
Dogs & cats 0.5 ml per 10 kg body weight.
Only one half of the normal doses must be given to animals with impaired renal function.
These dosages preferably to be given twice on the first day, and afterwards once daily.
