Lincoprima

Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibiotic derived from Streptomyces lincolnensis which inhibits protein synthesis. Lincomycin binds to the 50S sub-unit of the bacterial ribosome
Lincomycin is active against some gram-negative bacteria (Clostridium perfringens) and mycoplasmas (Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae). lincosamides are generally considered to be bacteriostatic agents, the activity depends on the sensitivity of the organism and concentration of the antibiotic

Composition:

Each 1 gm contains:
lincomycin hrdrochloride 453.5 mg
Equi to 400 mg lincomycin

Target species:

Chicken and turkey

Indications:

- Treatment of airsacculitis caused by either Mycoplasma synoviae or Mycoplasma gallisepticum.
- For the prevention and treatment of Necrotic enteritis due to (Clostridium perfringens)
- Respiratory and skeletal problems caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, & Mycoplasma meleagridis in turkey

Dose:

0.5-1 gm / litre drinking water for 3-5 days
