Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic produced by a strain of Streptomyces fradiae. It exerts its antimicrobial effect by inhibiting protein synthesis of susceptible microorganisms. Composition:

Each 1 gm contains:
Tylosin tartrate 850 mg
Equi. to tylosin base 785 mg

Indication:

Poultry:
- Control necrotic enteritis (NE) associated with Clostridium perfringens
- Treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) associated with Mycoplasma gallisepticum.
- Control of CRD associated with Mycoplasma gallisepticum at the time of vaccination or other stress
- For the treatment of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens
- For the control of CRD associated with Mycoplasma synoviae
Turkey:
- Infectious sinusitis associated with Mycoplasma gallisepticum

Dose:

1-1.5 gm / litre drinking water for 3-5 days
